Seeing as how the BBC seems to have curiously missed this, I thought I would share with you;

Labour paid no corporation tax last year despite being in surplus for its sixth year, the party’s annual accounts revealed yesterday. Three months after Ed Miliband criticised irresponsible tax avoidance, it has emerged that his party reduced its corporation tax bill from £561,000 to zero by offsetting expenses and tax losses held over from 2011.

Lucky old Labour, right?

  1. Congratulations and jolly well done to the Labour Party for keeping some of its wealth safe from the grasping, hungry beast.

    The two-faced, hypocritical bastards.

    Totally normal and totally legal. Losses in any year can be carried forward to be used against profits in subsequent years. The banks did exactly the same with their losses.
