Pretty shameful, all things considered.

An Irish member of the European Parliament has been condemned for suggesting that Palestinians begin an intifada to “overthrow the capitalist establishment of Israel.”  In an interview last week with the Russia-based television network RT, Paul Murphy, a Socialist Party MEP for Dublin, said that a “struggle” along the lines of the first intifada was “necessary.”

Now, remind me how many innocents lost their lives during the first Palestinian terror campaign? And this goon Murphy wants to see more loss of life?

  1. It’s interesting that it’s the apparent capitalist establishment (Israel is rather socialist) which irks him instead of zionism. It’s interesting also that calls for death and misery can be flung out so casually.

But then in the long run it’s not out of place. Terror has been very much a tactic of the Left in Europe, and exclusively belongs to collectivists.

Resistance to occupation always leads to the deaths of innocents. Yet none of us is against it.

  3. Of course this Murphy dude was interviewed on RT ( Putin TV ).

The MEP suggests that other people revolt so that others can die, far away from him. Good boy Murf.

  4. an Irish Politician that supports terror … I’m shocked.

No Noel terror committed by terrorists always leads to the death of civilians. The Palestinians are the occupiers, the terrorists, and the people that send their children joyfully onto buses strapped with c4.

  5. Good thing that no British politicians or university professors hold similar views.

Yeah, unlike ‘security actions / counter terrorism measures / pre – emptive strikes’ committed by the state.

    Wise up Troll.

  7. no Paul you wise up. If your not a threat you have nothing to fear. If you are a threat it, well then not only should you be worried but everyone around you should be too.

  8. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How many of those kids that you wanted dead would you consider threats?

  9. Pauly,
You do remember that website I gave a link to last week?
Anyway I chased it up emailed them and asked a few more questions, told ’em I wasn’t Jewish but had lived and worked in Israel, and I’m on the mailing list.
I checked them out with some of my “in law” Jewish family and I hope to go to some of their meetings.
I believe in putting my money where my mouth is Pauly..
    😉

  10. Paul Murphy’s mad views are about as representative of Irish people as Troll’s advocation of the mass murder of innocents are representative of Americans.
