Did you see that the Pope’s representative in Britain has urged Roman Catholic leaders to form a united front with their Muslim and Jewish counterparts to oppose gay marriage?

Archbishop Antonio Mennini, the Apostolic Nuncio, called for closer co-operation with other faiths as well as Christian denominations to put pressure on the Government over its plans to allow same-sex couples to marry. In an address to Catholic bishops from England and Wales, he echoed the recent comments of Pope Benedict who said the Church faced “powerful political and cultural currents” in favour of redefining marriage. His comments come after a series of high-level interventions by some Muslim and Jewish leaders last month after the Equalities Minister, Lynne Featherstone, launched a national consultation on how same-sex marriage might be introduced. Last month the Muslim Council of Britain voiced opposition to the plans, describing it as “unnecessary and unhelpful”

I suppose this isn’t the worst of ideas and it’s good because it will irritate liberals. However I find the idea of ANY “alliance” with Islam pretty abhorrent. After all, Islam is the faith system that executes gay people. Whilst I continue to protest against the oxymoron of “gay marriage”, I sincerely believe that the faithful should be worrying about other things than the folly of gay militancy. Like saving their own souls, for instance.  The Orwellian Equalities Minister Featherstone, of course, is most provocative and shows an arrogance that would inflame even the mildest supporter of our traditional culture.

There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God. (in English)”.

Islam has no room for, or need of, other faiths. Submission is the name of the game.

I am not in favour of making even temporary alliances with a faith which (as practiced by many) believes in honour killings, female genital mutilation, the inequality of women, throwing acid in the faces of women, the persecution of gays, and the stoning to death of adulterers or amputation of limbs for stealing.

I am also against gay marriage because the government has not allowed proper debate on the issue, and if allowed, I cannot see how any other kind of marriage arrangement could then be disallowed..
I have forwarded this link to most of the people I know. I have forwarded my MP’s responses on the issue as well…

  2. There are plenty of muslims and jews who would get on quite well with Christians. The New Testament abrogates the savagery and evil of the Old Testament so it means that ‘believing’ Christians are actually moderate as comapred with muslims and jews who really believe what’s in their holy books. But most jews and muslims do not believe word-for-word their holy books for if they did, the world would be uninhabitable. But on this site, only the beliefs of muslims are challenged and that presents real dangers.

There is a ‘far-right’ group called the EDL – English Defence League. As an example of how such ‘patriotic’ groups are run by and for other interests, one reads:

    http://www.resistradio.com/updates/head-of-jewish-defence-league-supports-anders-breivik-says-victims-not-innocent

    – Roberta Moore, who was intimately connected to the anti-Muslim English Defence League (EDL) and continues to run their Jewish Division’s Facebook page, has expressed her support for Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik – and described his teenage victims as being “not innocent”.

In a post made on April 17th to the Jewish Defence League UK Blogger site, believed to be run by Moore and supported by comments posted in her name on Facebook, she describes the Norwegian court as a “kangaroo court”, asks whether a “man like Breivik in a case such as this surely deserves a better trial than that?”, refers to the “Leftist slander constantly being thrown to undermine him and his views”, and defends him against charges of child murder by parroting Breivik’s defence that his victims were young adults, attending an “indoctrination camp”, who were “not innocent”. A comment attributed to Moore states

I hold the same amount of sympathy for the (sic) those on Utoya as I would if somebody committed this act on a Hitler Youth camp in the 1940’s, or were they just “children” as well? –

Many of the beliefs of islam are pure evil, and rightly described as so – but those of judaism get a pass. But until last night, I was unaware that influential jews in the US were calling for the extermination of Germans in early 1941 i.e. before American entry and before the holocaust.

  3. You have to give it to Allan – when it comes to searching the deepest darkest corners of the internet for nuggets that ‘prove’ the malevolancy and conspiratorial influence of an International ‘Jewish’ cabal nobody does it better !

  4. I’ve got to hand it to you guys. I make quite clear that the beliefs of islam are quite malevolant – yet those of judaism are beyond challenge? Why is that?

  5. Colm,
Allan really is a strange bloke.
I am a very easy going (admittedly opinionated and “gobby”) person. I am not aware of strongly disliking anybody.
Part of me admires Allan for his ability to dig out strange and uninteresting facts by the light of a guttering candle, in his wee, draughty, Aberdeen attic.

Another part of me is driven bonkers by his obsessive tendencies. I have met a few genuine anti semites in my travels, and they have been frightening in their intense (irrational) hatred of Jews.
Allan’s is more insiduous. He will throw in a few conciliatory remarks, and if you then respond sympathetically, he’s right back onto his groove. More like a Goebbels than a Hitler…

    Mahons,
to have made you laugh pleases me greatly. 🙂

  6. Allan

Do you believe that most Jews or that Judaism itself would be supportive of what Anders Breivik did ?

  7. To Muslims any alliance means defeat of the enemy (anyone not Muslim) and Dhimmitude reigns.

  8. Allan –

What Roberta Moore fails to mention is that Breivik also set off a street bomb which could just have easily killed jews, and rightwing ‘sympathisers’ like himself.

(Insidently, it comes as no surprise that many who wish to undermine Christian marriage are Jews, as Lynne Featherstone is).

  9. Do you believe that most Jews or that Judaism itself would be supportive of what Anders Breivik did ?

Most jews would not support what Breivik although, immediately following the murderous rampage, there were comments on Ha’aretz’s website which actually did support the murderous deeds. Judaism, or at least certain parts of judaic scripture, does support savagery against the goyim, in a similar manner as the koran does against kufr. In Christianity, there is nothing similar against those who do not share the beliefs, unless someone can correct me on that.

So Colm, why is judaism not criticised here yet islam is? NB – that’s the belief system.

If any muslim had put the comments that Rebecca Moore did, they would certainly have been highlighted here as an example of muslim retrograde savagery.

  10. David,
On a very few occasions I have visited an orthodox Jewish service
(Allan, they’re the ones where they don’t sacrifice the Christian child).

I understood very little of what went on, but there was a reverence you could feel. When the chazan began to sing and then the congregation, a wave of emotion swept through me. Sadness mostly. Images of wandering and rejection and loss. For me there is always something incredibly moving about Jewish worship.
My sister onetime asked me if I would consider conversion, and I have to admit that I have seriously thought about it through the years.
What stops me is that I believe Jesus Christ is the Jewish Messiah, and it is through the Jews that God’s love for mankind was fully revealed.

  11. David – why do you like judaism?

I thought I did but then I began to take a closer look at its ideological basis and I found it as bigoted and misguided as islam. However, it is evident that most jews don’t go along with it, although some do and others use it as a cloak for the usurious activities which have bankrupted the west. I will explain how jews are used as cover by those who claim to be jews.

Of course, having revulsion for talmudic judaism is not the same as revulsion for jews, which I don’t have. Many jews do understand how their religion is being used to cover for terrible policies. Here is Israel Shamir (he’s jewish btw), his summary of ‘The Protocols’ and his site is well worth a visit:

    http://www.israelshamir.net/

    – The difficulty of the Protocols is in an uncanny dissonance between its uncouth language and deep social and religious thought. It is a rude parody-like rendering of a satanic, subtle and well-thought out plan, wrote the Nobel Prize winning novelist Alexander Solzhenitsyn[5] in his (written in 1966 and published in 2001) analysis of the Protocols.

“The Protocols show a blueprint of a social system. Its design is well above abilities of an ordinary mind, including that of its publisher. It is a dynamic process of two stages, of destabilization, increasing freedom and liberalism, which is terminated in social cataclysm, and on the second stage, new hierarchical restructuring of society takes place. It is more complicated than a nuclear bomb. It could be a stolen and distorted plan designed by a mind of genius. Its putrid style of an anti-Semitic grubby brochure [intentionally] obscures the great strength of thought and insight”.

Solzhenitsyn is aware of faults of the Protocols. “Its style is that of a filthy leaflet, the powerful line of thought is broken and fragmented, mixed up with ill-smelling incantations and psychological blunders. The system described is not necessarily connected with the Jews; it could be purely Masonic or whatever; while its strongly anti-Semitic current is not an organic part of the design”.

Solzhenitsyn makes a textual experiment, removes words “Jews”, “Goyim” and “conspiracy” and finds many disturbing ideas. He concludes: “The text demonstrates impressive foresight on the two systems of society, the Western and the Soviet one. While a strong thinker could possibly predict the development of the West in 1901, how could he grasp the Soviet future?”

Century before the rise of World Bank and IMF, the Protocols noticed the foreign loans are the best tools to rob countries of their wealth. “While the loans were internal, money remained in the land, but with externalisation of loans, all nations pay tribute of their subjects to the oligarchy”. Indeed, the bigger loans poor countries get, the poorer they become.

Concentration of capital in the hands of financiers, concentration of media in few hands, extra-judicial killings of unyielding leaders, stock market with its derivatives sucks out wealth and it accumulates in the hands of the priesthood of Mammon, gain (or “market forces”) as the only measure of successful strategy. Yes, the interest to the Protocols does not disappear because the described plan of creating oligarchic (not necessarily Jewish) rule is being implemented in real time and it is called the New World Order. –

Do you see it? This is an example of how those who have the control of money deliberately write ‘jews’ and ‘goyim’ into their plans, the plans are then dismissed as ‘anti-semitic’ yet, when actually read by those capable of understanding them, are seen to be written only by those who could have written them.

  12. Allan

Judaism is not criricised as much as Islam for the simple reason that it isn’t a problem. A huge amount of violence and terrorism has taken place in recent years by thousands of people who use ‘literal’ Islam as an excuse for an orgy od mindles killing. The same thing has not happened with Judaism. There are no Jewish suicde bombers, no active groups of Jews lauinching nihalistic waves of violence against gentiles. Whatever archaic texts may say, people in contemporary times will only worry about when they are actively pursued. That is why Islamic militancy is a cause of concern but Jewish militancy (outside of the Jewish/Palestinian areas) is not.

  13. “David – why do you like judaism?

I thought I did but then I began to take a closer look at its ideological basis and I found it as bigoted and misguided as islam. However, it is evident that most jews don’t go along with it, although some do and others use it as a cloak for the usurious activities which have bankrupted the west. Allan obviously guest writes for this show too…. 🙂

  14. On this video, a former Israeli government minister admits that the charge of ‘anti-semitism’ is a card regularly played whenever someone criticises Israel.

  15. So what’s new Allan. All minority groups can utilise ‘isms’ justly and unjustifiably to deflect criticisms That’s no earth shattering revelation.

  16. The girl is pretty.
    The monkey ain’t.
The bikini looks better on her than it would on the monkey.
The girl’s family probably came from Europe.
You don’t know her history, or her family’s history.
The monkey either originated in an Israeli factory or a Chinese factory.
    The monkey likes Toblerone.

Israel is a free democratic society. They can attack/denigrate/ satirise whatever they like. I might not like it, but a lot of Jews think that Christ is responsible for their sufferings in Christian Europe.

That show is not representative of mainstream Israel, just as we would hope that this
    http://www.shamash.org/holocaust/photos/images/MedExp03.jpg
    is not representative of Germany.

  17. Agit – your humour attempts to mask an important point which you get otherwise you wouldn’t have tried the deflection trick. That program which denigrated the Crucifiction of Christ was on Israeli TV. Anything similar in the US or UK would simply not get on or if it did, a few people would be looking for new jobs.

Back to judaism and we now agree that jews are not a race but adherents of an ideology. As such, an ideology can be criticised and its beliefs challenged – or not?

The best people to reveal the true nature of an ideology are those who are from within it. Here, Henry Makow describes the background to ‘feminism’ and ‘diversity’, more or less as another patriot (Aaron Russo) of jewish origins did:

    http://www.henrymakow.com/the_book_the_bankers_made_disa.html

    – Wikipedia will tell you that the book “A Racial Program for the 20th Century” (1912) is another anti-Semitic hoax. It says the book and author Israel Cohen didn’t exist.

The reason for this lie? This book contains a famous passage that reveals the Illuminati-Communist race strategy, later applied to women and other minorities in the guise of “feminism” and “diversity”:

“We must realize that our party’s most powerful weapon is racial tensions. By propounding into the consciousness of the dark races that for centuries they have been oppressed by whites, we can mold them to the program of the Communist Party. In America we will aim for subtle victory. While inflaming the Negro minority against the whites, we will endeavor to instill in the whites a guilt complex for their exploitation of the Negroes. We will aid the Negroes to rise in prominence in every walk of life, in the professions and in the world of sports and entertainment. With this prestige, the Negro will be able to intermarry with the whites and begin a process which will deliver America to our cause.”

Rep. Thomas Abernathy read this passage into the Congressional Record on June 7, 1957 (Vol. 103, p. 8559, top of page.) Wikipedia tells you Abernathy read the quotation in a Letter to the Editor of the Washington Star, and the newspaper subsequently determined it was a hoax and apologized. “The quotation has retained some popularity among racists and anti-Semites to this day,” Wikipedia chortles.

I have subsequently added this line to the Wiki entry: “However, the author fits the description of Israel Cohen (1879-1961) a prolific Zionist author who wrote the Foreword to Israel Zangwill’s “The Schnorrers” as well as 30 other books. Like many purported “hoaxes,” the quotation does describe events as they subsequently unfolded and the operations of the US Communist Party.”

Cohen was the General Secretary of the World Zionist Organization. If this is the same Cohen, it means Zionism and Communism were identical. –

Within the link is an inner link to Benjamin Freedman, another patriotic jew, who describes how zionists got the US to join WW1 and prolong a slaughter which had been about to end in stalemate in 1916.

  18. Agit8ed –

“I might not like it, but a lot of Jews think that Christ is responsible for their sufferings in Christian Europe.”

Christ? You mean his followers, yes?

If so, then screw those Jews.

  19. Pete

So the greatest act of anti-semitism in history didn’t come to fruition in Christian Europe then ?

  20. No not as a direct cause , but the Holocause was developed and implemented from within a Christian country and a largely Christian people, nurtured by Christianity as it’s biggest single influence for over 1000 years. Is it any wonder it has left a legacy amongst some Jews of hostility to European Christian culture.

  21. I’m just reading about the Kol Nidre which, until about a couple of hours ago, I hadn’t heard of.

    http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/9443-kol-nidre

    – Prayer recited in the synagogue at the beginning of the evening service on the Day of Atonement; the name is taken from the opening words. The “Kol Nidre” has had a very eventful history, both in itself and in its influence on the legal status of the Jews. Introduced into the liturgy despite the opposition of rabbinic authorities, repeatedly attacked in the course of time by many halakists, and in the nineteenth century expunged from the prayer-book by many communities of western Europe, it has often been employed by Christians to support their assertion that the oath of a Jew can not be trusted. –

OK, but does it allow talmudic jews to release themselves from any bargains, contracts or agreements with gentiles?

    – Thereupon the cantor chants the Aramaic prayer beginning with the words “Kol Nidre,” with its marvelously plaintive and touching melody, and, gradually increasing in volume from pianissimo to fortissimo, repeats three times the following words:

“All vows [], obligations, oaths, and anathemas, whether called ‘ḳonam,’ ‘ḳonas,’ or by any other name, which we may vow, or swear, or pledge, or whereby we may be bound, from this Day of Atonement until the next (whose happy coming we await), we do repent. May they be deemed absolved, forgiven, annulled, and void, and made of no effect; they shall not bind us nor have power over us. The vows shall not be reckoned vows; the obligations shall not be obligatory; nor the oaths be oaths.” –

David Vance – I assume that, like me, you had never heard of Kol Nidre. What do you think of this? Even as I read further down the link and I look for something which says that it isn’t to be taken seriously, I don’t find it.

  22. Allan

And how many Jewish people know or remotely care about following these archaic ‘instructions’

  23. Colm – I don’t know but you could tell me. After all, I’ve only just found out about this get-out clause that God’s ‘chosen people’ have. Maybe this is part of the package of being one of God’s chosen ones? However, because it is part of the ritual for the day of Atonement, it is reasonable to asume that any jew who has ever participated in it would know of it.

In disputes with those whose minds are pretty much shut-down, there are stages in the ritual of argument.
    1. I will make an assertion but I’m told that I’m wrong.
    2. I then back the assertion and I’m told that it doesn’t matter
    3. I then show that it does matter and I’m called ‘racist’ or ‘anti-semite’ (as if that ends the dispute to my loss)

In this one, the link to the jewish Encyclopaedia was so conclusive that Colm jumped straight to stage 2.

  24. Allan

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. The vast and overwhelming majority of the world’s Jewish population manage to live their lives without feeling the religous obligation to engage in a mendacious destructive war with non-Jews, THAT is why all your numerous Internet links about sinister hostile Jewish intentions are baseless rubbish.

  25. Colm –

“Is it any wonder it has left a legacy amongst some Jews of hostility to European Christian culture.”

If so, it ought to be a wonder.

Those Jews who are hostile to Christians and Christianity for what the National Socilaist State did to Jews might reflect that it was great, Christian, civilisations that ended the war also.

Those Jews can also get stuffed.

  26. Allan,
“1. I will make an assertion but I’m told that I’m wrong.
    2. I then back the assertion and I’m told that it doesn’t matter
    3. I then show that it does matter and I’m called ‘racist’ or ‘anti-semite’ (as if that ends the dispute to my loss)”

But on the bright side, we have managed to keep you out of some secure facility….

    Bravo Colm!
“No not as a direct cause , but the Holocause was developed and implemented from within a Christian country and a largely Christian people, nurtured by Christianity as it’s biggest single influence for over 1000 years. Is it any wonder it has left a legacy amongst some Jews of hostility to European Christian culture.”

If it’s okay for some to tar all Jews with the same brush, why be surprised if some Jews feel the same about Christians?
Manifestly they don’t, as Israel and many survivors have acknowledged their debt to Gentiles who hid and helped them. 🙂

  27. It’s probably best not to even glance at the Vatican’s attitude towards the Jews before, during and even after WWII.

  28. Good Morning Richard!
You have been uncharacteristically quiet the last few days.
My calling you “Wichid” has confused Colm no end..

  29. Agit8ed,

“My calling you “Wichid” has confused Colm no end..”

Your calling me “wude” confused me no end.
