Face masks will no longer be a legal requirement in England from Monday.
The UK’s two largest supermarkets will continue to ask shoppers to wear masks, even after the legal requirement to do so in England is dropped on Monday.
Sainsbury’s and Tesco have joined the bookseller, Waterstones, which has said customers should wear masks to protect staff and other shoppers.
They can ask all they like but I will not wear a mask. We’ve gone on for far too long with this charade. The idea that a piece of soggy cotton would block an infintesimally small virus was always a lie, a ridiculous lie. We’re now jabbed, “three weeks to save the NHS” was a long time ago (and another lie), it’s time to grow up and live as normal people.
